Prof. Dr. Akar Tuzuner is a general surgeon specializing in organ transplantation who has worked in several prestigious hospitals in Ankara, including Ankara Memorial Hospital and has obtained international certificates in organ transplantation in Canada and the United States. He holds a European Diploma in Transplant Surgery from the European Board of Surgery. He is a member of several medical societies, such as the Turkish Society of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery and the European Society of Organ Transplantation. He has participated in many national and international scientific conferences as a speaker and organizer.
