Prof. Dr. Kamil Yalcin Polat

Prof. Dr. Kamil Yalçın Polat is the Head of the Transplant Department at Atasehir Memorial Hospital in Istanbul since 2010, and was the Director of Ataturk University Transplant Center in Erzurum from 2003 to 2010. He received his medical education at Ataturk University Faculty of Medicine between 1980 and 1991, and worked as a faculty member at the same university until 2010. He attended specialized training in surgical oncology, hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, as well as training at Memorial Sloan Kettering. He is the Vice President of the Turkish Society of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery and a member of several international medical societies.
