Dr. Mert Sinan Bingol

Doctor Mert Sinan Bingol was born in Izmir in 1984 and graduated from Igdir Anatolian High School in 2003, followed by a medical degree from Karadeniz Technical University in 2011. He worked as a family physician in Istanbul between 2012-2017, then completed his specialization in psychiatry at Akdeniz University, where he focused his thesis on the impact of childhood trauma on relationships and emotional functions. After finishing his mandatory service at Hakkari State Hospital, he joined NP Istanbul Brain Hospital in 2023 as a psychiatrist. Dr. Sinan has a special interest in relationship issues, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, mood disorders, and OCD and offers multiple therapeutic pieces of training, such as CBT and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
