Dr. Nihal Tastekin was born in 1989 in Izmir and graduated from Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine in 2013. She completed her specialization in psychiatry in 2020 at Istanbul Erenköy Hospital, and her thesis focused on cognitive enhancement in patients with opioid addiction. She performed her compulsory service between 2020 and 2022 at Bolu Izzet Bayisal Hospital, where she worked in the AMATEM clinic for the follow-up of addiction patients. Since June 2022, she has been working at NP Istanbul Hospital in the Addiction Treatment Unit. His interests include addiction, anxiety disorders, and cognitive and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
