Dr. Yildiz Burkovik

Dr. Yildiz Burkovik, born in 1962 in Istanbul, studied psychology at the International Islamic University, specializing in psychotherapy and psychodrama. She worked in several hospitals and treatment centers, established psychological laboratories and supervised the training of specialists. She completed her PhD in 2021 with a thesis on the impact of biofeedback on panic disorder. Since 2012, she works as a psychotherapy coordinator at NPIstanbul Hospital and teaches group therapy at Üsküdar University. She is the author of three books on social phobia and anxiety.
