Associate Professor Doctor Levent Bayam is an orthopedic and trauma specialist who obtained his medical degree from Istanbul University’s Pasha Surgery Faculty and completed his residency training in family medicine at Haseki Hospital and then specialized in orthopedics with multiple fellowships in the UK and Canada, including a hip and knee replacement fellowship at the University of Montreal. He obtained his MSc in Orthopaedic Engineering from the University of Dundee and his MSc in Sports Medicine from the University of Salford. He has worked as a specialist physician at Manchester Central Hospitals, as a research fellow at NHS Hospitals, and as an associate professor at Sakarya University.
