Asst. Prof. Dr. Ugur Tunc

Assistant Professor Doctor Ugur Tunc is an ophthalmologist who received his medical degree from Uludag University in Turkey in 2016. He completed his ophthalmology training at Beyoglu Eye Training and Research Hospital between 2017 and 2021. He was awarded a research fellowship at the Wilmer Institute of Ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins University in 2023. He has worked at Silivri State Hospital, Eyup Sultan State Hospital, New Century University in Istanbul, and is currently working at Medipol Acibadem Hospital. He won the second prize at the Artificial Intelligence in Health Conference in Izmir in 2020, received a travel grant to attend the 40th Congress of the European Society of Cataract and Lens Implant Surgery in Milan in 2022, and won the “Young Scientist in Ophthalmology” award from the Turkish Ophthalmological Society.
