Prof. Dr. Cengiz Koksal

Prof. Dr. Cengiz Koksal, Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery, was born in Afyon and completed his education at Darussafaka School, then graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1992. He specialized in cardiac surgery at Istanbul Surah Pasha University and completed his training in 1998. He held several positions in prestigious hospitals, including Kartal Kocoyolu Hospital, where he became deputy head of the clinic in 2009 and was awarded the title of professor in 2011. He performed more than 2,000 cardiac surgeries until 2017, and headed the Department of Cardiac Surgery at Bazmi Alam University until 2024. He currently continues his work at Medipol Ajibadem Hospital.
