Prof. Dr. Peykan Turkcuoglu

Prof. Dr. Peykan Turkcuoglu began his medical career by graduating from Hacettepe University’s Faculty of Medicine, where he continued his specialty studies in ophthalmology and graduated in 2003. He worked as a research assistant at the same university until 2003, then served as a doctor at Sivas Military Hospital. He traveled to a number of Turkish universities as an assistant and associate professor, including Fırat and Inonu University. In 2009-2010, he worked in the Retina Department at the Wilmer Institute of Johns Hopkins Hospital in the United States, which added an international dimension to his experience. His medical interests include eye injuries, retinal and vitreoretinal surgery, cataracts, uveitis, strabismus, and laser therapy.
