Assistant Professor Dr. Muharrem Erol is a thoracic surgeon who graduated from Ataturk University Faculty of Medicine and completed his specialty training at Uludağ University. He worked at several Turkish universities between 2000 and 2011, and then gained international experience in the United States between 2014 and 2015, including Harvard University and prestigious medical centers in Los Angeles and San Diego. He has special expertise in robotic surgery and thoracoscopy. His medical interests focus on surgery to treat lung and tracheal diseases, tumors, thoracic malformations, as well as hyperhidrosis, tuberculosis, and pleural effusions.
