Prof. Dr. Cemal Asim Kutlu

Prof. Dr. Cemal Asim Kutlu is a distinguished specialist in thoracic surgery and is currently working at Istinye University Hospital and Liv Hospital in Bahcesehir. His areas of interest are lung cancer, tracheobronchial surgery, bronchoscopy, esophageal surgery, lung transplantation as well as pediatric thoracic surgery. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine between 1979 and 1985, and then held prominent leadership positions including heading the thoracic surgery clinics and lung transplant programs at Suriya Pasha Hospital and Kartal-Kochoyolu Hospital. He also gained international experience as a researcher and registered specialist at the Royal Brompton Hospital, UK. Since 2016, he has been heading the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Yeni Yücel University Hospital.
