Assistant Professor Dr. Baran Yilmaz is a specialist in neurosurgery and works at Istinye University Hospital and Liv Hospital in Bahcesehir. His areas of interest include herniated and cervical discs, brain vascular diseases, nervous system tumors, pediatric neurosurgery, as well as the use of advanced techniques such as Gamma Knife in the treatment of tumors. He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine and completed his specialization in the Department of Neurosurgery at the same university. He gained his practical experience by working at Cizre State Hospital and Medical Park Göztepe Hospital. He is characterized by his expertise in dealing with delicate and complex cases in neurosurgery.
