Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Baran

Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Baran is a cardiologist who graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1991 and specialized in cardiology at Uludağ University in 1997. He held academic and research positions at Uludağ University, where he became an associate professor and then a professor in the Department of Cardiology until 2017. He received international training at Cleveland Clinic, Geneva, and Hamburg in advanced techniques such as intravascular ultrasound, CRT, and atrial fibrillation ablation. His interests include echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker implantation, and catheter-based treatment of arrhythmias.
