Prof. Dr. Koray Akarli

Prof. Dr. Koray Akarli has been the head of the Transplant Center at Memorial Hospital Sisli in Istanbul since 2004. He has extensive experience in liver and biliary surgery, having worked in several prestigious academic and medical institutions such as Istanbul University and Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He received advanced medical education at Istanbul University, where he received his MD degree in 1981 and became a professor in 2005. He has participated in 37 international and national conferences and 6 meetings as a moderator, and is a member of 10 medical societies and organizations.
