Assistant Professor Dr. Alkan Flag is an Associate Professor of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Istinye University Hospital, specializing in arthroscopy and joint replacement, trauma surgery, and vertebral fractures. He received his medical education at Istanbul University and specialized in orthopedic surgery at Dr. Sadi Konuk Hospital, where he later obtained the title of Associate Professor. He completed a fellowship in knee and hip surgery in Germany and has practical experience in several teaching and governmental hospitals. He is a member of several international and Turkish societies specialized in orthopedics, sports and spine.
