Prof. Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Balci

Prof. Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Balci, a doctor specialized in orthopedics and traumatology, graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2004. He completed his residency at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, where he did his research thesis titled “Relationship between anatomical structures and ankle arthroscopy portals” from 2004 to 2010. He received a research fellowship in limb reconstruction and deformity surgery at the Paley Institute, St. Mary’s Hospital, Florida. He is currently a professor at Istanbul University, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, and was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2017. His medical interests include limb and deformity surgery, pediatric orthopedics, and hip and knee replacement surgery.
