Dr. Yesim Olgun Kantas was born in 1993 in Aydin, graduated from Izmir Science School in 2011, and received her medical degree from Hacettepe University in 2017. She completed her psychiatry residency in 2022 with a thesis on differential diagnosis of dementia types. She served between 2022 and 2024 at Giresun State Hospital. Her interests include schizophrenia, mood disorders, alcoholism, dementia, and psychological and physical therapies such as magnetic stimulation and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
