Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hamdy Tafakli

Born in Istanbul in 1972, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Tefekli is a urology specialist who completed his medical education at Istanbul University and his urology training at Istanbul Medical School. He received advanced training in urology and surgical oncology at international centers, including Heidelberg University and Cleveland Clinic. He has more than 75 international publications and more than 5000 scientific citations, making him one of the most influential researchers in his field in Turkey. He also contributed to the introduction of da Vinci robotic surgery to the American hospital. Since 2019, he has been working at Atlas Istanbul University, which he co-founded.
