Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Tefekli

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Tefekli, born in Istanbul in 1972, is a specialist in urology, who completed his medical education at Istanbul University and his urology training at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. He received advanced training in urology and oncology surgery at international centers, including Heidelberg University and Cleveland Clinic. He has more than 75 international publications and more than 5,000 scientific citations, making him one of the most influential researchers in his field in Turkey. He also contributed to the introduction of da Vinci robotic surgery to the American Hospital. Since 2019, he has been working at Istanbul Atlas University, which he helped establish.
